Overview
Mirrasil is a server in which, contains many aspects of fantasy, different genres of fantasy mixed into one server. We are based in the medieval times, and our realistic content is based off those times. We do not focus on certain genres, we try to keep it spread out, in order to keep open to new ideas and opportunities.
The Islands of Mirrasil - The map will focus in a set of islands - we will begin on only one small island and to access the other islands, transport RP must occur. In other words, you can RP out sailing on a ship or another mode of transport with other players when first attempting, allowing for more realism and chances to develop your characters, as well as unique encounters that never fully could occur as no one actively roleplays sailing on a ship in most RP servers. This will be a one time for all islands, but players can still freely rp sailing or adventuring. This also applies to camping while travelling -,instead of simply running to a destination far away players are encouraged to set up camp should nightfall. This may take longer than normal but will allow for camping roleplay to take place and allowing your character to truly get to know those they are travelling with. The server will encourage more adventure and discovery, as well as a rarity, of events, through players actually taking up to exploring the new world.
Freeform - The serve allows for players to uphold a great amount of creativity as long as it is within reason. Players can create their own unique magic, as long as it doesn't come close to overpowering and god-like. Most of the lore is player made and can RP something that may not require a lore, although it's better to be safe than sorry by just asking a staff member if it is fine.
Rules
We have very strict rules on Mirrasil when it comes to roleplaying and just being apart of our community. If you follow these rules you’ll never have anything to worry about. Click here for viewing them.
In-Game Mechanics
What are commands and why do I need to use them?
Commands are a wonderful tool we use on the server with expressing thoughts, feelings, emotes, and to just discuss information in and out of character.
The wool represent the different kinds of talk channels listed below:
Out of Character/Global -/ch ooc- It’s the chat command that allows everyone on the server to hear you. It is used to speak out of character (OOC).
Roleplay/Talk- /ch rp - The command you would use during roleplaying or in character (IC). Only allows people in a short area range to see what your character has said or done. (23)
Whisper- /ch w - Used when you are wanting your character to whisper to another character. The message is only seen in a 3 block range.
Shout- /ch s (shout) - Obviously used when your character is yelling and is seen in a much greater distance than /ch rp. (The message is only seen in a 45 block range.)
Help- /ch h - If you need any help with anything, ask that chat.
Local Ooc- /ch looc (The message is only seen in a 25 block range.)
Combat- /ch c (The message is only seen in a 25 block range.)
Quiet- /ch q (The message is only seen in a 8 block range.)
Indoor Roleplay- /ch irp (The message is only seen in a 10 block range.) -
There is also Tongue chats such as Elven, (Orcish), and (Dwarven) which, when used, would imply that your character is speaking in that language. Example on how it would appear if you were to use /ch rpe , /rpo, and /rpd.[/indent]
By using /sethome [name] and /home [name] to set up yourself a home/place to teleport to, rather simple command.
DO NOT ABUSE this command for metagaming, it will not be tolerated.
Commands- /sethome . /home
Players are given 3 player vaults to use, the vaults are used as extra inventories like a backpack.
Command -/pv #
This allows you to use the 3x3 crafting table without actually needing the crafting table.
This will display the server calendar Mirrasil has within it, so you may keep up with the current days and time. There is a thread here that explains it all.
Command - /calendar
This button allows players to listen to their own record/disc songs. In Mirrasil’s Server resourcepack, we have our own custom music and sounds for the players to enjoy something new and not the same ole Minecraft sounds and music. Link will be here.

This is something very helpful, that will be handy on helping players with bugs, problems or anything within the staff’s hands.
This command sends the online staff a ping and message that the player needs help with a problem, note that not all staff are using the Global or Help chat. We can not see everything and do not have all the tabs up as well as not wanting to be spammed with questions in direct messages. This is the best way to contact an online staff member.
Commands - /t create , /ti create
This button allows you to use many different types of player heads that are used for decoration and such. Players have an unlimited supply of how much they can use.
Note: When a player is wearing one on their head, they are not in character and shall not be taken serious. Please do not use the decoration on your head as you roleplay, Example: I do not want to see you with a pokeball over your head and you using it. Keep the immersion and respect other player’s immersions. Also, keep none server themed player heads off and out of your builds on the server. They are not to be roleplayed and will be removed.
Command - /heads
The movement speeds are the only buttons that do not have a accessible command.
Movement speeds are:
Walking - Reduced normal movement speed.
Brisk Walking - Normal minecraft speed.
Running - Your normal movement speed is increased as you would feel as you are running.
Fly
Flying grants the player flight, note that the flying SHOULD NOT be used in rp. This is used for OOC travel and getting out of stuck technical situations. If caught abusing this, first the access will be taken away as a warning, then banned.
