What are sprites?
Sprites are small fairly like beings that look mutch like an elf. But are only 10/14 cm. in size the have small wings that have a glass-like look to them.
These little fairies like beings can be all sorts of colors, most of the time the also behave like that color.
Their wings can look like crystals, or like leafs in shape.
The wear Leafs and flower peddles as clothing, even do the do not have an actual private area.
How do the life?
The stay in groups living in deep forests like areas. mostly full of flowers and a small pond.
The choose a tree to stay in using their powers to hollow it out without killing the tree. The can communicate with animals and plants but speak common just as easily. This, however, does not mean the do not travel out of these settlements.
When the find a friend in one of the travelers that come to their home some will go with them as companions, to see the wonders world outside of there home.
How do the get children?
This is a very interesting thing about them, the are born from flowers, so called Springers.
These flowers are a very rare breed as the seeds for these flowers are made by the sprites them selfs. Every one of them is able to make these seeds and are not in need of a partner to make them.
These Springers have a paddle that can be compared to a rainbow its colors bright and vibrant.
The leaves of it are very soft and plushy, that has spores on it that will give a nasty burn like sensation if applied to the skin.
Sprites and their protection.
Sprites are small and cute, but ones endangered will release a cloud of spores. that can give a feeling of sickness.
Like an upset stomach, and headaches.
It will fade in hours but can linger on for a day if the person has a weak resistance.
