General Appearance
Athanas is a tall and elegant elf with a slim build with a slight muscular look to them, her breast size is C. She would have a slight youthful look to her, looking around twenty five years old. Her nails are neatly trimmed. Her hair is a fair blonde and reaches her waist, it is silky and soft to touch. It is tied into an elegant ponytail. Her eyes are a clear grey, filled with calmness and peace, and are noticeably glowing. However, these glow gold when using her magic. She always carries a shoulder bag with her.
Tattoos and scars
Athanas has Nimronyn tattoos in her right shoulder and arm: a golden tribal wyvern on her shoulder before descending into a series of flames down her arm. Furthermore, she has a series of scars on her body, the main noticeable scars being the burnt marks on the left side of her face and most of her body. There are fainter scars, each with their own story.

Athanas can take the form of a golden wyvern with huge feathered wings. She reaches up to 15ft in height, and 37ft in length and her build is very slender and thin. She has darker plating down her spine with spikes, while her scales do stick up a little then flatten down fully to increase her speed when diving.

A knife Athanas made with a carved out handle and sharpened flint, she uses it more for carving tools and preparing meals than combat.

A worn out messenger bag slung over Athanas' shoulder and made from faded leather with many patches and stitches, very useful to carry small objects within.

Style of speaking
Athanas’ style of speaking is typically formal, using a wider vocabulary and mostly straight to the point. She will always explain scenarios and ideas in full, rarely missing out. However, she will change how she structures her words to make herself easier to understand if she is speaking to someone who does not understand common or another language well. Her voice can be described as smooth yet confident, the voice of a leader. Sometimes when she is angry, her voice sounds as though there is snarling.

Personality
Athanas is a very calm and relaxed woman, she doesn’t seem to panic or worry much and tends to be a calm person in most situations. The woman is kind to those she knows and is always willing to lend assistance to those in need. Due to her upbringing, Athanas is intelligent, knowing a lot regarding survival, history, magic, and a range of other areas. Despite her acting serious and mature when needed, she is also quite youthful and talkable, although has her moments when it comes to things such as nudity. Futhermore, Athanas does not allow the opinion of others to affect her actions, she will do what she knows is right and will avoid to do what she knows is wrong. She is protective of her clan and allies, willing to defend them with her life, willing to go as far as serve as a distraction to ensure their safety. She is very independent, not relying on others to help her when she knows she does not need the help, but also isn't afraid to ask for help. With people she knows well, she shows a more humorous and cute side to her, often being a little excited or amusing to be around, especially when she is reacting to something embarrassing. In regards of her past, Athanas is a strong minded person who refuses to allow her past and emotions get the better of her. She would have moments of suffering, yet she eventually grows strong and keeps moving on, focused on the future ahead of her.
Despite her calm personality and appearance, making Athanas angry is something one does not want to do. Many have described her as a demon or devil when furious, swearing and unleashing full hell on those who awakened her fury. Additionally, Athanas tends to keep her negative emotions bottled up, not releasing them in front of others or when alone. However, the woman can become surprisingly cold and hateful towards another, willingly, if they do something she truly despises. Betraying her trust will leave scars in her mind and she will not forgive anyone who decided to betray her. When she has a plan, she is rather stubborn, bent on sticking to her plan and will become rather annoyed or frustrated when someone or something ruins her plan. She is also extremely protective of those she cares about, sometimes too far that she may become aggressive towards those who have harmed her friends. At times as well, she can be rather self-centered without knowing, causing some people to see her as uncaring a times. This is because of her wyvern instincts, where she is naturally aggressive due to the wyvern blood in her.

Style of fighting
Athanas very rarely uses physical weapons. Instead she prefers the use of unarmed and her magic as she can easily blend the two together at any given time. She tends to be very observant and tactical, using the weaknesses of her opponents to her advantages. Athanas uses her speed, hearing, and reflexes to assist her, using careful yet elegant movements to fight.

Athanas, due to the lack of heavy equipment and her body, is surprisingly fast and swift on her feet. Her flexibility is good as well.
(+) Keen eye
Athanas is usually good when it comes to spotting things, whenever its up close, or far away. She is also rather good at reading emotions and seeing if someone is lying or not, well most of the time anyway.
(+) Knowledgeable
Athanas is quite knowledgeable when it comes to a few things, such as herbs and mundane healing, history, and geography. She would happily note anything new down and make records of it, as anything can be useful.
(+) Survival and war experience
For someone who is a mage and doesn't use physical weapons much, Athanas has seen war at its finest. When it comes to leading a charge or giving out orders during a fight, Athanas has shown to be willing to take charge and direct people. Athanas has been in at least two major battles. She is also trained in the basics of survival, knowing what is vital and important to ensuring survival in the wilderness - knowing the basics of cooking, crafting makeshift tools, and other survival information.
(-) Heightened senses
Due to her Wyvern transformation Athanas holds the heightened senses that she gained from this. This is extremely useful to her when listening out for danger, or trying to know when something is off. Of course, this has some negative side effects such as wincing at loud noises and being overwhelmed by powerful smells.
(-) Wyvern instincts
Due to Athanas' ability to change into a wyvern, Athanas now has wyvern instincts within her mind. At times, Athanas has shown to be able to control these instincts, although they do affect her; she is loyal greatly to those she sees as allies, yet can immediately grow aggressive if backstabbed by another or if she sees an ally hurt. She also has an adorable habit of purring, but she does also snarl and act rashly if she cannot control these instincts.

Athanas tends to struggle lifting up heavy items such as two handed swords, armour, and heavy materials, especially if they slow her down. Athanas is often disgruntled with her lack of strength.

Athanas struggles with issues that can affect her deep, such as losing someone close to her, or if something can greatly affect her as a person. Sometimes she tried to handle an issue by herself, not wanting to bring others into it.

Athanas' stubborness when it comes to plans is more of a negative for her, as she is more willing to stick to her own plans or a plan that was decided rather than improvising. This means she cannot really adapt suddenly to a sudden shift in the plan and may need to take a few moments to reanalyse the situation at hand.

History

Athanas was born into the Nimronyn clan, the daughter of Ajaxis, the clan leader, making her the heir to being the future leader of the clan. Her life was of fineness yet isolation; she rarely contacted with people outside of her family’s home as her father was too protective of her. Constantly, she was escorted everywhere by the Elsnarns, the Nimronyn family’s guardforce, and not allowed to go outside of Melamar. Instead she was homeschooled and taught what her father wanted her to know. She grew up to understand politics, magic, and other areas, yet did not have much contact with her people.
Eventually, Athanas gained her magic when she was twenty, when she finally lost her temper. Due to another clan member constantly bugging her for her hand in marriage, Athanas broke out at him in rage, something she had never done before as she was presumed to be the most calmest. The moment her rage snapped, golden flames surrounded her hands, amazing all of the clan members. Athanas was brought to the Fire mage of the clan, Thyus, who helped her to control her magic and discover what her flames could do. She could not harm any inanimate object and lay damage to it, she could harm anything living, and that her eyes glow when she uses such. Athanas grew to love her magic, although she knew full well that she needed to control it or it would corrupt her.
On her twenty fifth birthday, Athanas gained her signature tattoos, in the form of golden flames to symbolise her role as a mage and that the clan recognised her as a full grown adult. She was allowed to move outside of her home and interact with people, finally making friends and meeting people her age. She explored over Melamar with exploration parties, learning survival within the harsh and cold enviroments. Athanas later began to research wyverns and transformation magic, as well as the blood of a wyvern. She wanted to see if she could make a spell to change her form.
However, the clan fell under attack by the Solaray Clan they had traded with previously. The clans had sailed over and launched a vicious attack. Athanas watched as their defences were breached and tried to find her father, only to find him dead. She managed to fight her way out of the temple with her brother, Boraelis, and the Elsnarns and fled with a small gathering of her clan members. Meanwhile, Melamar was ransacked, every useful item and book was taken from the and soon fell into abandonment, signs of the slaughter left within the empty halls. For a while, the small gathering ventured across the island, before taking a boat towards the mainland of Vaerik. From there, the remaining members split, searching out civilisation and a new home to stay. Some went in groups of three or twos, but Athanas went alone, too grieved about the loss of her family and home. From there, she wandered across the land of Vaerik.

Eventually, Athanas returned to the remnants of her clan with Meta Solaray and retook her stance as leader of the Nimronyn clan. She led them and protected them, ensuring the clan rose back up to when it fell.
During this time, Athanas ventured to the Solaray island of Cesare to assist the Solaray family when Meta lost his memories. As she helped Meta, Athanas soon fell in love with Meta and grew more determined to help him recover his memories. This proven successful and the two soon began dating. However...

Knowing she and her clan are in danger, Athanas leftVaerik to ensure the protection of the Granari Codex and the Clan. However, during the journey, their ship was struck by the Primal of the Seas, causing Athanas to fall overboard. She soon washed up with a group of other survivors from another ship. Without any other options, Athanas banded with the survivors and worked alongside them to ensure all of their safety. Yet deep down, Athanas grows worried if her clan has survived, if Meta has survived, and if the Granari Codex is safe.

Athanas and Acaria have a sister-like relationship, as well as being sisters-in-law, with Athanas being considered the big sister. She cares about Acaria and is willing to protect her. She also certainly approves of the relationship between Acaria and Boraelis.
