The Amasis
The Amasis Race is the race of Humanoid creatures which are combined with the DNA of certain other species. There are four known races of these, the Arachasis being the most recent of discoveries due to how they hid themselves from society. Each have heightened senses and more agility due to the combination. It is unknown how these races came to be, but they seem to have been alongside civilization since it first began with the Felasis.
The Felasis were the first discovered and the reason why the others hid from civilization. The Felasis were enslaved for other races due to their animalistic features which made cause for the thinking of them as beasts. Little is known however somehow The Felasis managed to fight for their freedom. After this news reached the ears of other Amasis they began to show and so the Kanasis and Folasis were found. Then the Arachasis were revealed to travelers in the Desert, needing water and wanting to live amongst civilization.
The Felasis
The Felasis is the Feline Amasis. These are documented to be the first known Amasis and they were first used as Slaves. Many things are unknown about the fight for freedom, however some Felasis who fought still remain. Although they refuse to speak of what happened, many speculate they had the help of other races that shared the same views.
Height: 4 ft - 5’6” ft
Average weight: 90-150 pounds.
Lifespan: 100 - 150 years
The Felasis have strong, sharp claw-like nails. The more savage of this race use these nails to hunt however most have come to civilization and either keep them or trim them daily. These nails grow more fast than human nails and the fastest out of the other Amasis. Their senses are heightened, especially their eyesight. They have low light vision, causing their stilted eyes to glow in the dark. They are the most agile of the Amsis also, and one of the best at fighting. Their tails are needed to keep balance and their hair often grows fast. They commonly have lighter hair colors that range from dirty blonde to white/silver. The ends of their hair can also be a blue or a purple though this is quite rare. Their eyes are mostly a golden color though can be a mutation of blue or green.
The Kanasis
The Kanasis is the Canine race of Amasis. They can range from Grey Wolves to Antarctic Wolves, being many in number. This race was the second to be discovered once the Felasis were free. It is said the civilised ones lived amongst the other races while remaining hidden with hoods, and even that perhaps those ones brought together a group to aid the Felasis in their freedom. Although Canines and Felines seem to hate each other, these races live side by side as if each were their own race. The Kanasis stored some of History's most important moments, documenting many things but within their memories. Somehow, evolution has gifted these beings with the ability to know everything their ancestors have learned through a sort of memory storage.
Height: 5 - 6 ft
Weight: average 120-180 Lbs
Lifespan: 150 - 170 years
The Kanasis usually have darker shades of hair, from black to dirty blondes. However rare lineages from Antartic Wolves can give some Kanasis white, grey or silver hair. These Kanasis usually have two different eye colors and strange black markings presumed to be hair. In an uncivilized pack, these Kanasis are usually the Alphas. The Kanasis have sharp nails that grow fast, however not as sharp or fast as Felasis nails. Their senses are all heightened, especially their hearing and sense of smell. They also have low light vision which allows them to see through the dark. The Kanasis however are colorblind and detect movement more than colours. Their agility is faster than other races however they are not as agile as the Felasis. Most of this race became civilised long ago however there still exist some tribes that refuse to change their ways of cannibalism and the like.
The Folasis
The Folasis are the only Amasis who refuse to speak with the other Amasis. They mostly speak with the other races in a nervous manner, preferring to stay away from people. Most live closer to nature, either in packs or in their own homes. Their race is very secretive about what they do, yet as cunning as they are timid. They usually keep foxes as pets, or friends as they call them. They are able to communicate with each other and understand one another, being the only Amasis able to do this.
Height: 4’5” - 5’5”
Weight: 90-150 Lbs
Lifespan: 145 - 170 years
Their hair/fur color ranges from a dark brown to a slight, pinkish red to a ginger. Their ears are usually long and slender with a white outline and their tail with a splash of white at the end. Their nails are rather more like human nails, not like claws. They have excellent vision and heightened senses, their hearing seeming to be the best. However they seem to have another sense, being able to communicate with all types of animals. They’re able to somehow quickly adapt to certain languages and many speculate they can read minds, however this is not proven and simply speculation. Most races tend to stay away from these Amasis though the Kanasis try to contact them regularly, trying in any way to make a connection with another Amasis.
The Belsais
The Belsais are the least diligent of the Amasis, and unlike the others, they sacrifice speed in exchange for strength. They tend to be rather clumsy and slow, both in speed and in catching on. The Belsais are docile, though can get protective over certain people or possessions, though due to their slothful nature, this is rather rare to see.
If they are feral Amasis, they normally listen to the Alphas.
Height: 5’10” - 6’5”
Weight: 200-300 Lbs
Lifespan: 150 - 185 years
Their hair/fur color ranges from that of midnight black, to wood brown, to pure white. Their bears are more rounded, akin to a bear’s, their tail rather small and resembling a tuft.
The Arachasis
The Arachasis is the least civilized of the Amasis, living in Deserts, Caves and pretty much anywhere that is dark and dry. They were discovered by travelers who were wandering through a desert, only to find a group of Arachasis needing water. They spoke of how they banded together after being cast from their nest for wishing to join civilization. Most races are either afraid or disgusted at this race due to their appearance.
Height: 5 ft - 7 ft
Weight: 120-210 Lbs
Lifespan: 170 - 200 years
The Arachasis have a long range of skin colors, ranging from white to a green. Even some can be purple! The lower half of them is spider, ranging from any color there is due to the wide variety of colors that spiders are. They usually create webs to live in caves mostly, however some do live in homes. Though, the homes they inhabit often become overrun with spiders and webs. They have a strong eyesight, though their other senses and agility seem to remain normal. Some of this race are able to poison people with fangs, usually having lighter colored spider parts. This is one of the few Amasis where the woman is the natural leader.
The Leasis
The Leasis is are higher Feline Amasis. A pride of Leasis came to villages and towns, announcing their existence and wish to join civilization. These Amasis carry a large amount of pride and make rash decisions often, also being quite ‘crazy’ at times.
Height:5 ft - 6’7” ft
Weight: 120-190 Lbs
Lifespan: 165 - 185 years
These Amasis have quite a difference in male and female appearances. The males often have wider ears where humans would often have theirs. They almost always have a shade of long, blonde hair, with the hair around the neck and chin rapid in growth. The females instead have no neck or chin hair, in fact not much fur at all in their bodies apart from the pubic areas, their hair, their tails and their fur. Their ears are atop their heads and longer than they are wider. Their tails are more furry and cat-like whilst the males have a large pom-pom looking ball of fur on the end of their tails. Their eye colours are shared as the same as other races, with the added addition of red and yellow of course. Their senses are heightened, agility and eyesight being the best of their senses.
Origin
Long ago, there was a mysterious Primal who wanted to create a race that combined the aspects of animal features with the current humanoid races. Her name was lost to time, no one knew who she was, and she tried many times to create what she called, the perfect race. So far, none have succeeded, until. . . One final day, she managed to create the perfect race she wanted. She named her finest creation the Amasis, and then set them to roam free on the lands, specifically, the northern eastern lands.
One by one each type of the Amasis was discovered and became known, with each of them ranging from living in the forest to the mountains to the caves along the lands of their own homeland. However, peace did not last long for the Amasis. The Felasis, one of the original Amasis, were enslaved by the other races due to animalistic features. One after another, group by group, village by village the Felasis was captured and enslaved by others for their own personal gain. Whether it’d be for their tails, or their ears or their hair, to the other races it didn’t matter, because they were beasts anyways. This is the very reason why the other Amasis were hidden away from society, afraid that they too would be hunted and enslaved as well.
However, it was thanks to the Felasis that the others could come out of hiding. The Felasis managed to fight their way to freedom, how they did it no one knows except for the Felasis. That peace did not last for long, however.
Each of the Amasis was at war with each other. The reason, being that each of the Amasis wanted a large amount of territory for their people, not wanting to share with the other Amasis. The sides include the Leasis and Belasis, the Arachasis, and finally the Felasis and Kanasis. However, as years passed all the Amasis grew tired of fighting, and so the battle was called off. The Amasis then formed the Treaty of the United Kingdom of the Amasis, which formed the Kingdom of Chithiel. This treaty brought peace between the groups and had the Amasis work together in peace and claim small lands for each other. From then to the current timeline, the Amasis were at peace, waiting to be discovered once again by travelers.
Dialect
Whilst some Amasis speak the tongue of Common normally, the Feral Amasis have a different dialect.
Instead of referring to themselves with ‘I’, they typically refer to themselves in third person. Their grammar is poor, often mixing their sentence order and their connectives.
They also have more emphasis on harsher sounds such as ‘ch’ or ‘k’, so their dialect is rather.. Unpleasant to listen to.
