Chaos reigned on the battle field, fire plowed through men like candle wax. Yet in the center of the discord that had taken over the men, there lay a single crystal. It shined brighter than some stars, and it's blue tinge gave it an supernatural feel. A single soldier- one that had given up on the war, would stumble upon it. As he took his last gaze upon the realm of the living, his eyes settled on the crystal. His hand would move to touch it. . . Something drew him towards it. As he placed a hand on the stone, his body and the stone alike vanished. No one had ever seen them again, and that stone was said to be a gift from the divines. A key to the heaven's above.

The crystal is a transparent blue and is often around fist size. It is said that if one glances into the crystal, it shows images of an unknown realm.

The ore is found in odd places, with inexplicable surroundings. It can be found buried in the snow at the top of some mountain or 2 feet deep in sand from some desert valley.
-Special-
-If touched by bare hand, one must roll a d20. If the roll is under 10, then the person who touched it is shifted into the fey realm, where they will be stuck there forever, as the stone can be found in the fey realm but it is extremely rare on both plains.
-It is rumored that one that is skilled in runic magicks can create a rune to anchor the stone to this realm and possibly a traveler / realm jumper could find the person on the otehr side.
-The stone is often used in realm jumping rituals.
- This is the same stone used in Elven spires.
