Half-breeds also known as mixed blood race, those who have two different raced parents. Any half-bred child would gain some traits, whether they be physical, mental, or magical, from each parent. This stands true for strengths, but also weaknesses. There are some races that can not always breed with another race.
In some societies, half-breeds are normally shunned, rejected and even killed sometimes.
Lifespan
As an Half-breed and taking the traits and mixtures of their parents, they can either live longer or less than their parents. For example if an Elf and human would have a child, the child would live longer than the human parent but shorter than the elven parent.
