"In the beginning, there was chaos... until the Architect came.
In the beginning, there was no time or space... until Eion took his first breath.
In the beginning, there was no sun or moon... until Irasil and Isomia shone their lights.
In the beginning, there was nothing... until Mirrasil was given purpose"

Overview
Within the world exists beings far beyond mortal perception and understanding, powerful beings that can be considered gods by their tremendous power that shakes the very foundations of the realm below. By mortals, they are referred to as Primals, beings who existed before the world was new yet knew all. There are an endless stream of Primals, from the known to the unknown, the powerful to the messengers. Many are worshipped by the races, while others are feared for their almighty powers. To meet a Prime, many would say you will need the greatest or the worst of luck.Overview
There are two sub-types of Primals: The Divines and the Fallens. The main difference between the two types are the form the Primals take, where they are located, and their strengths. However, both Divines and Fallens despise the other type: Divines despising Fallens for choosing to willingly swoop low to mortal level, while many Fallens despise the Divines who had banished them to the mortal realm and took away their true forms.
The Divine Primals
Divine Primals - Divine Primals, or referred to as Divines, are Primals who dwell within the Vesafim, the realm of the Divines. They are rumoured to take forms that are beyond mortal imagination and radiate a divine aura, even the strongest of men is said to cower like a frightened rabbit when in the presence of a Divine. The Divines rarely transcend down from the Vesafim, seeing their rightful place within their own realms. Divines are commonly the ones who refuse to aid mortals, unless offering them power helps to ensure the Divine’s own wishes are granted or if they seek to achieve something. Their forms have never fully been witnessed by the mortal eye but have been believed to appear beyond what mortals would ever be able to think of and generate raw power and fear. It is said a Divine cannot feel emotions and are completely focused on their ideals, they do not care about how their interference can affect the mortal realm nor for the feelings of mortals. If a Divine seeks to cause destruction, it would never think once for living beings upon the realm. Many of the Divines hold powers such as the very manipulation of time and space, the very ability to create and destroy at the snap of their fingers, and so forth. They are more powerful than Fallen Primals, who sacrificed most of their powers to dwell upon the mortal realm.
The Fallen Primals
Fallen Primals, or referred to as Fallens, are Primals who dwell within the mortal realm. They take the forms of great beasts and beings who roam the land and maintain some of their divine power, using it where they see fit. These Primals are here due to either being banished there by the Divines or chosen to be there, some curious by the mortal realm or feeling as though they will achieve their goals by being physically present. Unlike Divines, Fallens are more likely to aid or harm mortals out of a range of reasons; from out of anger, goodwill, and so forth. Even boredom has been a reason for why Fallens contact mortals. Furthermore they cannot gift mortals with their powers that the mortals themselves can wield at times, as they are limited when on the mortal realm. However they still can create mass destruction or demonstrate remarkable powers that not even the powerful of mages can show.
They can keep to one form, one that demonstrates their raw power, as well as the aspect the hold control over. These Primals hold influence over the land, through controlling the elements and other areas.
Primals as a whole can be divided into another category in terms of their power and what they can control. Lesser Primals and Greater Primals.
Lesser Primals are Primals who cover a lesser aspect of the world, such as a small aspect of time, or a particular lake, a certain wind direction, a virtue such as judgement, and so forth. There can be multiple Lesser Primals within an aspect, although no two Lesser Primals are the same. They hold their own characteristics and appearances. However, the Lesser Primals respect and follow orders from the Greater Primals, especially those who hold greater power in the same aspect as the Lesser Primal.
The Greater Primals however are Primals that control an aspect fully, such as time, death, etc. They are far more powerful than Lesser Primals and there is typically only one of them per aspect. They are far stronger than the Lesser Primals, regardless of if they are Divine or Fallen. Although far rarer, there have been instances where Greater Primals have intruded upon the mortal realm, for both positive, neutral, or negative reasons. These Primals - both Fallen and Divine - are proven the most strongest as many have more Zelta than Lesser Primals.
Many races worship or show respect to the Primals, either out of true respect or true fear for them. However, many should be aware that both types of Primals can be fully good, evil, or a mix of between. For example, a Fallen Primal may willingly aid mortals out of goodness, whereas others may aid mortals and expect something in return such as worship or something from the mortal. Meanwhile a Divine Primal may seek to cause harm and destruction for their own pleasure and entertainment. One should always be careful if they ever seek out divine aid, for it could go many ways as a Primal can be unpredictable and beyond mortal thinking. Throughout history, there have been tales of noble warriors who sought out Primal aid, yet many either had to sacrifice something to receive aid or were brutally tricked into bringing forth mayhem under a Primal. Thus should someone be contacted by a Prime, true caution is advised in case the Primal before you seeks to use you as a tool or needs something in return for its aid
Each Primal has its own role within the realm, some may collect knowledge, while another is the very embodiment of flames. Some can control nature, while some can even manipulate the fates of mortals. It is even said that the first Primal, the Architect, created the very universe and all the other Primals. Each one has its own representations and job, as well as their own abilities revolving around what they represent, meaning that a water based Primal will be able to manipulate water itself but not the earth and fire. A Primal, Divine or Fallen, may help you should you ask it and the Primal heeds it, or the Primal specifically asking a single or group of mortals to aid it. Yet these are truly rare phenomenons as Primals only tend to interfere with mortal affairs if something is defying its own rules and ideologies, how they want the world to be, or if they truly wish to get involved. Let alone if it will truly aid you or not should you request a Divines aid.
Within the Vesafim, each Divine has its own realm or planes where they dwell. The realm serves as both a home and a sanctum for their power, the realm representing the Divine in all its glory. Many believe that these realms are actually the Divines themselves while they do bear a physically and more interactive body for when needed. These realms can take a range of forms: one may be a courthouse if the Prime there represents Judgement and Justice, while another could resemble a scorched and fiery volcano if the Prime there represents fire or destruction.
Zelta, also referred to as Primal Energy, is a mysterious form of energy that Primals can produce and manipulate. It is commonly referred to as a stronger and concentrated form of mana, although it is a different energy compared to Mana. Both Fallen and Divines are capable of manipulating such energy, as it is apart of them and helps them meld the very aspect they hold domain over. However, mortals are unable to channel such power as their bodies were not made to harness such; although made to harness mana, the mortal body is incapable of wielding Zelta. If a mortal attempts to channel Zelta through them, they would find themselves unable to control it as the Zelta will run rampant within their body the moment it makes contact. The mortal body will grow immensely weaker the more they channel it, feeling tired in minutes and are likely to face seizures and a strong amount of pain as the energy eats away at their lifeforce. If the mortal keeps attempting to use Zelta for over thirty minutes, their body will automatically shut down from the strain of Zelta, killing them. Furthermore, the energy will cause the mortal's mind to grow hysterical and mad driven, unable to think straight.
Divine and Fallens are near impossible to kill, both types are incapable of dying from old age, starvation, and many mortal means. When in the Vesafim, Divine Primals are completely immortal to mortal attacks and harm. However, if a Divine descends to the mortal realm, they become Fallens and place themselves at the same risks the Fallen face.
While it is near impossible, such task of killing a Fallen Primal can be reached, but two factors need to be considered: Is the Fallen a Greater or Lesser Primal, and does the mortal have access to Zelta, in terms of having another Primal assist them. Killing a being of such divine power is a task no mortal, whenever alone or in a huge group, can achieve without the aid of another Primal.
If the Primal you are attempting to kill is a Greater Primal, an immense amount of energy from a Primal is needed, whereas a Lesser Primal will require less energy can certain mortal weapons can cause temporary harm. For example: A Lesser Fallen Primal can be injured or killed by another Primal that is either equal to it in power, or is a Greater Primal. Whereas, a Greater Fallen Primal will require a Greater Primal that is either Fallen or Divine to injure. A single Lesser Primal is unable to cause much harm to a Greater Primal as they are still rather weaker than the greater Primal. Fallens can regenerate their injuries after a certain amount of time if such injuries were caused by mortal means. A Lesser Primal, especially an agent, can still be pushed back through mortal means if you have enough mages, swords, archers, and weaponry on hand, as well as patience and tactic.
Once again, to kill a Primal: you will need to consider if the Primal is a Greater or a Lesser Primal, and if the Primal assisting you is capable of holding its own ground against another of its kind. If the Primal is a part of one of the major groups: The Creators, The Minds, The Foretellers, or the Elementa, killing such Primal would be impossible for mortals as it would cause the very reality of the world or universe to break down. If the Fallen Primal of the Seas and Storms were to die, with it would the very water it has created, while if the Divine Primal of Time and Space were to die, the very reality of time and space would break down. It has become a law within the Primals that such Primals cannot die to secure order within the world.
The Primal War
Countless years ago, there was once a Divine Primal who brought forth a war between Divines and Fallens. The Primal was the Primal of Guidance, Tahnions turned against the Fallen and mortals alike by descending down from the realm of Vesafim and attacking them, slaughtering them and devouring their souls for power. The Fallens attempted to stop the Divine yet only found themselves dead or badly injured. Thus became the Fallen Massacres, the corpses of many Fallens remaining upon the realm. In desperation, the Fallens turned to Vesafim and pleaded for aid from the Divines, asking them to stop Tahnions. Yet they did not, either stating that the Fallens were facing punishment for willingly descending to the mortal realm or that Tahnions was innocent. This outraged the Fallens who grew bitter with rage and fury, causing them to become more destructive. Soon, the anger of the Fallens reached its limits and the Fallens began to lash out at any Divines who descended temporarily, especially Tahnions. Brutally attacked, the Divines returned an equal counterattack, bearing their weapons coated in Primal energy - the energy needed to cause complete damage or kill to a Primal. Thus beginning the Primal War
Armed with their weapons and powers, the Divines descended, Fallens arisen from their domains upon the mortal realm, and the war began. The mortal beings - both intelligent and feral, were caught up in the war. The Primal War lasted three hundred years in mortal times, bringing with it mass destruction and chaos. The world of Mirrasil became the battlefield, Fallens and Divines battled against each other in a mix of bloodlust and fury. Many Divines and Fallens joined the war out of rage for the Fallen Massacres, others joined for the thrill of war, while some merely joined to cause pure mayhem. Some gifted mortals with aspects of their powers, asking them to aid them in the war. While others summoned their own creations to fight for them, not caring if they harmed mortals. Powerful storms of energy streaked across the skies, shattering many continents. One continent located far away even became shattered then reformed as an entirely new landmass. Once mighty kingdoms were shattered and destroyed, many mortals killed as the battle of the gods reigned on. Mortals struggled to live as disasters, flood, and death occurred, separating out into small tribes and villages to survive. The Primals who did not join the war often aided the mortals, doing all they can to protect them from the war, such as Odrasil and Easis who gifted the mortals with mana cores and Aura.
Soon, Tahnions captured by other Divines and Fallens who sought to end the war, through true judgement being brought to the one who commence the massacre. Brought forth by the Divine Primal of Judgement, Puralis, the Divines and Fallens ceased their war and watched as Tahnions was judged. Memories of what Tahnions did were shown backed up that he was the one responsible. Thus he was punished. No mortal knows what became of Tahnions or how he was punished, but his trial brought the war to an end. The other Divine Primals announced the end of the Primal War and the Divines returned to Vesafim, while the Fallens returned to Mirrasil. Thus, began a new era and the years were reset so that mortals may begin anew. Yet what damage was already done was struggling to heal. Some Fallens and the Divines still held resentment and distaste towards one another, while others have since moved on.
The Primal Groups
Sometimes, the Primals can be split off into small groups with others Primals who hold the same or equal roles as them, such as Fatelias, Easis, and Azgraz working together to balance the lifespan and fate of all mortals. These groups were not formed by the Primals themselves, rather just names that the mortals have placed the Primals under to refer to them much easier than listing them all, while some religions are devoted to one of these groups.
