Basics:
This tree of magic is centered around the creation and manipulation of portals. Zoey developed this skill while dabbling with the magic of portals in her old world, when she used one to leave her home, arriving here and wiping her own memory to start a new life. The tree does not have a lot of spells, but they do have many uses.

Passive Spells:
▸ Dimension Effect
The caster uses their mana to keep it moving in a 5m radius around theirself, forming a dome. The air around the caster is constantly shifting horizontally and vertically, within this area of the caster can cause miniature rips in space to shift objects or theirself around through around as long as they are inside the dome of influence.
Notes:
- This spell requires a moderate amount of mana to keep active.
- This spell requires 3 posts to activate.
- This spell cannot be used to transport people other than the caster, however a small rip in space can be opened beneath one's feet to cause them to trip or stumble.
- If the caster were to transport himself to a different location inside the 5m radius they would lose 1 aura point.
- It takes one post to target an object (or caster) inside the dome and another post to make it re-appear.
- Any items transported through this spell will come out either damaged or less durable (i.e. a swords transported may become slightly dulled or a piece of the tip of the blade will be missing).
- Weapons, armour, etc. cannot be taken from a person with this spell, as it is protected by their aura.

- Active: 3 MP (Returned upon spell deactivation.)
Basic Spells:
▸ Object Transportation
The caster uses their mana to encase an item (Bow, Arrow, Sword, Shield), essentially creating a magical gateway from Point A to Point B. Once the item is encased in the caster's mana it will shimmer and be distorted horizontally and vertically, the caster then selects an area which will also be altered and distorted by their mana, opening the other side of the portal, wherein the object will disappear from it's current location and re-appear in the desired location.
Notes:
- This spell cannot work on anything grounded such as a building or a tree.
- This spell takes 3 posts to cast.
- This spell costs a small amount of mana for small objects such as swords and arrows, to use this spell on a medium sized object such as a Caravan or Boulder would require a large amount of mana and double the cast time, to use this spell on large objects such as boats requires an immense amount of mana and three times the original cast time.
- When used, it is not uncommon for items being transported by this spell to break or have pieces of them missing.
- The portal cannot take an item from an unwilling person, as this is protected by their aura.
Mana Cost:
- Small Objects: 2 MP
- Medium Objects: 8 MP
- Large Objects: 14 MP
▸ Restricted Dimensional Portal
The caster uses their mana to distort an area in front of them, opening up a temporary portal that allows travel from Point A to Point B. Point B being anywhere within a 50m radius as long as it's somewhere the caster has been to or seen before. Enabling travel for anyone who walks through. After a small amount of time this portal will be distorted and rapidly shrink, closing with a bright light.
Notes:
- This spell requires a medium amount of mana to cast and a minimal amount of mana to maintain.
- This spell requires 5 posts to cast and lasts for up to 3 posts.
- The area of the exit (or Point B) will be signified by a bright light and the air will distort, opening up and forming the portal, closing with the same effect.
- Once you go through this portal you can not go back.
- Walking through this portal does damage to ones body, or in most cases their aura (-1 Aura Point when using this portal).
- The portal cannot be created around a person, they must walk inside.
Mana Cost:
- Creation: 8 MP
- Maintain: 1 MP Per Post (Max 3 Posts)
▸ Unlimited Dimensional Portal
The caster uses their mana to create a runic circle which will stay in place for up to 1 week OOC. This portal acts as Point A.
Once activated, the runic circle will light up and glow a bright transparent blue, the air above the center of the circle is distorted, shifting horizontally and vertically, a rip in the air opens up in the middle with a loud crackling sound as the fabric of space is being split apart. Point B is any location the caster has physically been before, a portal opening up with the same effect, a bright light before the air of the desired location is distorted horizontally and vertically before the portal opens up. When the portals are closed the area they are in is once more distorted, shifting vertically and horizontally before a bright light engulfs the area, the portal disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Notes:
- This spell requires 12 posts to cast and remains dormant until the caster activates it (This will be logged on the Forums).
- This spell requires a medium amount of mana to set up, an immense amount of mana to activate and a large amount of mana to maintain for long periods of time if it is activated as a 2-way portal, or a medium amount of mana to keep it sustained for long periods of time as a one-way portal.
- One may cross back and forth through these portals as long as they are open and activated as a 2-way portal.
- When traveling through a portal made from this spell one will lose 3 Aura Points.
- The portal cannot be created around a person, they must walk inside.
- Location must be within the same realm, or plane of existence.
Mana Cost:
- Set Up: 5 MP
- Activation: 10 MP
- Sustaining: 8 MP (Two-way), 5 MP (One-way), until portal is dispelled. The user's Mana is restored once the portal is dispelled.
Defensive Spells:
▸ Deviation Portal
The caster uses their mana to cause a dimensional rift in a selected patch of air within a 15m radius around them, opening up a small portal 1m in diameter. Then a second portal, the same size is opened and whatever was sent through Point A gets turned around and sent back out Point B.
Notes:
- This spell requires two posts to cast (One to cast the spell, a second to open the first portal) and a third post to summon the second portal. An object can pass through the first portal on the second post, and it will come out of the second portal on the third post. It can also pass through once both portals are made.
- This spell costs a small amount of mana.
- Anything sent through the first portal from this spell will keep its momentum and be sent back out the second portal.
- Once something (i.e. a Fire Ball, Water Bolt, ect.) is sent through Portal A, that portal will close and when it leaves Portal B, then that portal will close.
- Due to one's aura, any sentient being cannot pass through these portals. This cannot be formed around a weapon someone is holding.
Mana Cost:
- Creation: 2 MP
▸ Desolate Portal
The Caster uses their mana to cause an area of air (5m in diameter) to shift horizontally and vertically, opening up a portal in front of them. Anything sent into the portal cannot return. (Magically embued items/artifacts will be sent to their location of origin, rather than be destroyed.)
Notes:
- Due to one's aura, a sentient being of life cannot step into this portal.
- This spell requires 4 posts and a moderate amount of mana to cast.
- This spell will last for up to 3 posts.
- This cannot be created around a person or an item their holding, as they and their items are protected by their aura.
