Eiselda
Name: Eiselda (The Miracle Flower)
Description: This is one of the most unique flowers in all Mirrasil. Unlike most flowers, the Eiselda is made entirely of crystal. Growing up in the island of Suhirak, this flower is extremely rare and very difficult to find. It comes in many colors, red, blue, purple, light blue, pink, white, green, yellow, orange, but most commonly is clear silver. The Eiselda is also hard to grow, only producing two seeds, also made of crystal and very fragile like the flower itself.
Abilities: Unlike many of the flowers, the Eiselda contains one of the most special abilities of them all, to heal. Once harvested (which is possible) will give a nectar which when used, can heal a lot of injuries and sicknesses. However, there are things this flower cannot heal (see below). Surprisingly, this surprises many people who find out it’s unique ability, but it was never documented. Anyone who manages to obtain and keep the flower alive will be one of the very few lucky people to ever find it.
CANNOT Heal:
Wounds or injuries caused by childbirth
Wounds that are caused after a certain amount of years (2-6 years)
Mental based injuries and disabilities
Unnatural sicknesses (sicknesses that do not occur on the lands of Mirrasil usually, or caused by a certain monster/creature or magic)
How it grows:The Eiselda grows like any normal flower, except for two factors. First of all, instead of producing multiple seeds, the Eiselda only produces two. And finally the Eiselda grows much slower than a normal flower, thus requiring more care and more nutrients for the flower to survive at all, about 120 days. The necessary conditions for the Eiselda to grow are temperature, location, and season. The flower must be planted in the winter, due to requiring a very cold temperature, and be kept away from the sun, as it may cause the flower to melt like water. The Eiselda must also be in cold places, such as cold caves or high in the mountains away from the sun. Finally, the temperature to grow this flower must be grown at the least 32 degrees Fahrenheit, or 0 degrees Celsius or lower. Any temperature higher than that can cause the flower to start melting. Once these conditions are met to grow the flower, and 120 days have passed, then the flower can finally fully bloom at night in the cool air. Other than the different conditions required to grow, the Eiselda grows almost exactly like a normal flower on Mirrasil. This flower can be found in cold caves, or in the freezing snow mountains under some shade.
How to harvest: The Eiselda can be used to make strong healing potions and medicine, however making the special nectar is the best way to use nearly all of the flower's abilities and use it's full potential. To harvest the Eiselda, the harvester must keep the necessary conditions to grow the flower on it at all times. To keep these conditions stable, the harvester must harvest the flower where it grows. (Unless if someone has another way to keep the conditions stable, which will be VERY difficult.) The harvester can choose to harvest just a petal, pollen, or the whole flower. Some strong healing potions just require the petals however, so be careful with how much material you use with what potion you are making.
